Aleia Walker is a dynamic young professional with a background in Creative Writing and Design Studies. Following the completion of her graduate degree, Aleia has decided to capitalize on the skills she developed in her professional and collegiate careers. She is currently seeking opportunities to assist new clients in their business startups and specializes in developing programs and creating marketing content. Aleia has 5 years of experience working as an internal communication associate at a commercial construction and janitorial firm in the Atlanta area. These skills helped her land a challenging internship at a Washington, D.C. think tank focused on the Americas. Aleia wrote detailed research pieces on Caribbean policy, and edited similar research pieces of the writing staff of 30. She was also responsible for coordinating and reporting on the organization’s media appearances. Currently Aleia resides in Atlanta but loves to travel for business and for pleasure. She started Foundry Communications Consulting in conjunction with pursuing a career in nonprofit communications. She enjoys creating a bond with clients and getting to know their business goals so she can construct the most effective business plan or marketing product to match their needs.
