I'm Harsh Nadar, an alum of Electrical Engineering dept. from IIT BHU with a CPI of 9.2/10.
Coming to IIT BHU by getting selected in JEE Advanced with a conversion rate of less than 1 percent in one of the most populous country in the world, India, I thought I had it all figured out. But, I guess life is a marathon and not a sprint race. After coming to college, I figured out what are all various fields I can get into.
I googled about them, and here's what I found:
"Software Development? You’ll love it if you enjoy problem solving!"
”Product Management? You’ll love it if you enjoy problem solving!”
”Data Science? You’ll love it if you enjoy problem solving!”
There are tons of professions suited for those who love solving problems, and I explored all of them during my college tenure and was fortunate enough to have won a some hackathons and do some internships as well.
I've received positive response from all of my previous employers. Here's a list of various internships that I've done:
1) Data Analytics - Indian School Of Business, Hyd - Got three months internship, but the internship was extended owing to my good performance.
2) Software Development Internship - Bank Of New York Mellon - At the end of two months internship, was offered a full time offer to join the firm because of my good feedback.
3) Founding Engineer Intern - Stealth Mode Startup - Was responsible for building and brainstorming the first MVP from scratch for a very early stage startup.
4) Software Engineer Intern - AiDash - Was asked to do a task in a technology (Django) I was not experienced in. Picked up the skill in a couple of days, and delivered the project on time.
