I have a juris doctrate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, located in San Diego, California, which I achieved magna cum laude in May 2008. Immediately thereafter, in July 2008, I took and passed the California bar exam. I was sworn in as a California attorney in January 2009. I actively practiced law in California as an attorney from January 2009 until mid -2015., when I intentionally deactivated my status as an active attorney and took some time off for personal reasons. As of now, I am currently ineligible to practice law in the State of California; however, I am permitted to perform legal projects (research and writing, document preparation, etc.) for clients as requested provided I abstain from giving legal advice to my clients while performing the requested legal projects. I am seeking legal research and writing projects as a freelance writer / independent contractor and former actively practicing California attorney.
