I am a Consumer Science masters student at the University of Pretoria. I am passionate about teaching and hope to continue in a career in tertiary education. Writing, whether academic or otherwise, has always been a passion of mine. I have an excellent grasp of English spelling and grammar. I have plenty of experience developing and writing recipes. I developed a new range of cupcakes for a local grocery store and assisted in developing recipes for a local restaurant. I have also planned and tested menus for functions that required specialized recipes. I am accustomed to using ingredients in recipe development that are not common in everyday cooking. Because of this, I can also work around dietary restrictions and adapt recipes to suit the needs of the consumer - whether to be gluten free, vegan or otherwise.
