I am Elina, a Finnish digital nomad and a habitual expatriate. After completing my Master’s Degree in multilingual communication, I have been working as a translator in language pairs EN/DE – EN/FI. While I am curious to learn about any topics, my main specialization lies in travel and lifestyle, marketing and technical translation. In travel writing, I believe in telling a powerful story. I seek out off-the-beaten path destinations and intertwine local narratives with my personal travel experiences to create inspirational stories for adventurous, culturally conscious travellers. When I’m not scooped indoors with a cup of vanilla tea in front of my computer, you’ll likely find me hiking, reading or exploring the local café scene in search of the best cheesecake.
