The Effects of Bus Driver Salary on School Transportation Accident Rates

Regression analysis of several years worth of data collected from public school systems in Louisiana comparing low bus driver salary with high accident rates. Preliminary findings shown that low pay rate often resulted in job vacancies which created shortages that may have created conditions favorable to increased accident rates due to contributing factors such as larger bus route in limited time frame.

Simulation Games and Methods: Business Faculty Perceptions

American Journal of Business Education

This study focuses on perceptions of management and marketing faculty in U.S. business schools. Both groups perceive simulations as useful teaching tools for their undergraduate courses; however, neither group views simulations as offering learning opportunities that are superior to traditional methodologies, such as case studies, service learning, or in-class discussions.
