I was involved in both the analysis and coding of these changes. • Was part of a team that converted a VSAM database to DB2. This was the database used by the ITS interface that stored provider information, processing rules, etc.. I was responsible for all JCL changes in procs to point to DB2 tables instead of VSAM datasets. • Designed e mail form to simplify and classify customer requests for production data to pull into test regions. • Used Easytrieve Plus to create data pulls and quick reports. • Used QMF extensively to query DB2 tables to assist with testing/debugging. • Attended training classes in DB2, IMS and MQ series.
