I am computer literate, I can help with data entry but I am more efficient when it comes to healthcare industry. I did inbound calls assisting providers with their inquiries about eligibility, benefits and claims. I did customer service for Blue Shield of California (commercial insurance) for 1 year and 2 mos and Travelers (workers compensation) for 2 years and 4 mos. I am currently working for Optum360 for 5 years and I'd love to stay but I have other priorities so I what I need is a work from home job. In this company, I started helping a hospital in Washington with their cash collections, account receivables, claim denials and appeals then I am now helping a hospital in California with the same thing, collections and billing. From being a collector , I then switched to a medical biller for the same hospital. I fix claim error edits, resolve claim rejections and bill claim via electronic and paper.
