I have worked as a web developer at socializer360 since my graduation. During this period I have participated in full SDLC. The following list highlights some of the main activities that I have performed during my stay at socializer360. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Requirement clarification and preparing formal specification documents. Participated in requirement gathering meetings with overseas clients. I did all the formal requirement specifications preparation after these meetings. These documents were reviewed by overseas clients after that. 2. HTML / CSS markup pages scripting. I took part in scripting web pages with HTML/CSS and JavaScript as for the agreed formalized requirements. 3. Enhancements to images which are used in the web sites. I enhanced and edit some of the low quality images that needs to be included to the website using photo shop tools to make them look professional when they are deployed to the web site. I learned lot about image enhancement and editing because of this task. 4. Server side component programming using PHP. I also took part in developing server side components that include business logic. 5. UI testing with selenium, functional and UI components. For the web site and web pages that I developed I wrote Selenium test code using java and TestNG so they could be automated with a build server which could be executed overnight as integration test. 6. Search engine optimization. I actively took part in optimizing the deployed web sites so they will rank high in search engines. 7. Have acted as the Web master for the production web sites. I acted as the web master for the web sites which I developed and pushed in to production servers.Technologies and tools used: PHP, Java , JavaScript, Eclipse , TestNG , Photo-shop editing , Maven2 , Selenium framework and Selenium plugin for mozilla browser.
