Port opening and restriction manage through firewall in AWS . * Create Snapshot for backup of these instances. * ELB(Elastic Load Balancer)- Assign Classic, Network or Application level load balancer as per requirement and add auto-scaling through the ELB. * Create RDS account in AWS * VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) - Deploy Private or Public instance with VPC. Private Instance with internet access. Assign on premises VPN to private instances with VPC.
