Remote sensing images processing
Methodology and Matlab software for cross calibration Earth observation sensors had been developed within contract with State Space Agency of Ukraine. It include solving next tasks: subpixel registration of two images of used sensors, extract common parts of these images, calculate linear regression for image Digital Numbers of calibrated sensor. Developed GUI Matlab software for in-flight ground resolution estimation for remote sensing systems. Technology based on solve inverse tasks of optics to determine ground resolution by natural or common use artifical ground test objects. Software tested on Sich-2 and Landsat4,5,7 data. Developed technology for merging of spectral images with different spatial resolution, based on classifications uniformity image zones and subpixel registration had been developed. Shown also some results of my scientific research in the way to use pseudo color technique for highlighting regions of interest, espesially disasters.
About Me
PhD, Ass. prof., expert in Earth Observation Sensors and image processing > 15 years. Experience in satellite image calibration (Sich-2; Landsat-4,5,7,8; EO-1; Hyperion, Sentinel-1, 2) on Matlab and Sentinel SNAP and Google Earth Engine. Developed algorithms and software for in-flight radiometric calibration and ground resolution estimation in 4 contracts with SSAU, subpixel satellite image processing, data merging from different satellites (S1, S2, LC8), made multiband visual-thermal-radar satellite images products. Developed GUI Matlab software for image and sound watermarking, steganography and image forgery detection. Have > 22 years experience in the mathematical simulations of different problems (statistics, linear algebra, differential and integral equations, nonlinear algebraic equations, approximations) with Python, JavaScript, Matlab, Exel, FEMM, LTSpice. Machine learnig on Matlab, Pyhon. Was the scientific adviser of 15 successfully adopted PhD thesis.
