Contest Brief

Hi.
This contest is our way of finding a great new writer to join our team. So the contest is for two short articles, just 300 words each. If we like your article but you are not the winner, we'll make an offer to buy it.

For both articles, your readership is the general public, educated and aged over 45.

Short article one: The first topic is about "time". Time is the ultimate modern luxury. What are some great ways to improve productivity in everyday life (not business life) to make more time for the good things in life.

Short article two: this is an article you can choose from the list below.
1906 - the first full-length feature film. Make me want to read about how it came to be.
1996 - is it really 20 years since the invention of WiFi?
1956 - Redback spider anti-venom was developed. There are a lot of facts about this spider on the internet - but can you make it fasntastic reading?
