Contest Brief

I am after someone to create a cartoon like character of an Australian Bilby. I need hi res picture files of him in a few poses and also need some animation work done with him saying some phrases. I have been working with my logo designer I found on freelancer for numerous jobs so when I find a good animator here I will use them frequently. To start with I would like to see 3 poses and a short 10 sec clip of your design.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE JUST SEE IT :( the time is gone and i didn't reach to upload it by about 10 minutes :( This is a very limited by time version of what i imagined for barry the bilby. the face is the most important. The body was made in a very short time because i did notice of this contest about 5 hours ago. if you trully liked it, please extend the contest for a better version and to allow me to complete all the requeriments you wrote

I can provide you the characters with few poses of it but i can't animate....If you accept the character design part then i can give you. Whats your opinion about this?

What is the character addressed to?
What role does the character play? he's a doctor? a teacher? or should it be generalized?

For those looking to have an increased prize it is not a whole lot of work. Once I choose a designer who has given the 4, very small items I have asked for they will receive the next project which is much more substantial.

  At a studio, this is two different full-time jobs, people work full-time as a character designer and somebody else would work full-time as an animator; the phrase "very small" discredits the work. And without any guidance/reference/insight into the character or your tastes these "4, very small items" feel like asking an archer to hit a bullseye in the dark.
  
  10 seconds of animation in theory could be 240 drawings at 24 frames per second. 240 drawings for an animation on a design that you might not even like would be wasted time without any payout. consider starting with the design and once approved, moving forward with the animation.

  "cartoon" is broad. what style of cartoon are you looking for? who is barry? is he clever or slow? young or old? who barry is as a character affects the design as well as the 3 poses a designer might draw and will affect the arbitrary 10 sec animation you are asking for.
