Contest Brief

I am writing a book and need someone to create 11 fairly simple illustrations for the book. They include 8 of dogs (border collies), 2 of mice and one of two dogs and a mouse together. I am attaching a file that includes detailed descriptions of each of the illustrations. The characters you will be drawing should be simple but fairly realistic. I am not really looking for funny looking comic book characters. I am also attaching a sample illustration of the type of illustration I'm looking for - fairly simple line drawings with some shading for the most part. I realize that everyone is going to have their own style, so it doesn't have to match exactly - I'm just including it to show the approximate level of detail I'm looking for. Please submit the illustrations in 11 separate files in transparent png format.

I wish to pay a flat fee that allows me to include the illustrations in my book without having to pay any royalties beyond the initial flat fee for all 11 illustrations. I am happy to include a reference on the copyright page of the book that includes recognition of the illustrator and a way to contact them, if you desire.
