Design a header/banner and site icon for my travel blog

Contest Brief

I need a stylish header/banner designed for my travel blog. The name of the blog is "travel4brews" and is focused on travel and the pursuit of craft beer.

I am not very creative but I was thinking the banner should incorporate something like a beer glass and an airplane or some other mode of transport. I would like the site name "travel4brews" incorporated somewhere in the banner and also the tagline "Points, Pints, and Planes".

The size of the banner is 1280 x 400 pixels.

I also need a small icon which will appear in browser tabs, bookmark bars, etc. The colors and style should match the banner but it will be obviously be much smaller. For the icon, think just the characters "T4B" (short for "travel4beer") would be appropriate. The size of the icon for submission to Wordpress is 512 x 512 pixels, although it will be much smaller when dislayed.

    we are working on your entry can you please tell me what background your banner would go on and what is the feel you would like to convey as craft beer is not for amateurish travels, it is a type of travelling you do as a connoisseur of the crafting art. Thanks

      The blog will target primarily males age 25-55. Background is plain white or very light grey. I would like to avoid Beach type themes.
