Contest Brief

I'm looking to rebrand my small business, starting with a new logo. Of course I'll want the logo provided in as many formats as possible, but most definitely vector in .eps and .ai. As well as, if possible, .psd, .jpg, .png and so forth.

The business is called "Live Geek" and we create geek themed perler bead art (pixelated art), foam padded dice trays, and sell some geek related necklaces.

Some of the thoughts I have on the logo include:
- Utilizing a simple geek glasses/hair within the word Live Geek (perhaps making the 2 e's into the glasses with the hair above it between the G and K.
- If there's a way to create a bit of a pixelated look to the graphic/lettering, or have it fade from smooth into a pixelated look that would be interesting.

I've attached a few examples just from google search that I like the general style of.

Also haven't settled on a tagline/slogan, you can design with one of these and switch it out to the one we decide on, or design without an inclusion of a slogan, at your preference, a few runners up are:

Open to ideas or suggestions on design, or tagline/slogan. I'm not against including a 'tip' in the form of extra pay if you go above and beyond to include perhaps multiple versions of their logo which could be utilized in different situations (a simplified version, full version, with a tagline/without, etc), but will be at my sole discretion.

Had a couple of new design layouts submitted, liking the variations. There have been a handful of tries at including something more 'pixely' within the logo, but none have really played out how I imagined, so future submissions, unless you're pretty confident of a particular way to use the pixels may want to avoid that, not sure the way my mind saw it is possible. Thanks again for all the great entries so far!

Lots of great entries so far. For any newcomers to the contest, we'd still love to see some more ideas/layouts on the logo, creative uses and references to the idea of being a geek, and any creative use of a pixelated part of the logo. Thank you so much to everyone thus far for their entries, we hope to recieve a few more contenders in the coming days!
