Contest Brief

I require a logo for a property development business called Forsite Property Development.

Why the name 'Forsite'?
The name was chosen for three reasons:
1. Fors
Forsdike is our last name so it was only fitting to somehow include a part of our name in the business name to show what a personal venture this is for us.
2. Site
In construction, the place where you go to carry out work is called a 'site'. It might be a construction site, work site, renovation site, land site, etc. This is the foundation of the business, the asset or commodity that we sell or buy to make profit.
3. Forsight
Forsight is the skill required to make a profit off our asset. It's about having the knowledge and training to make sound decisions in regards to location, property type, renovation work, etc. in order to come out of the deal and make money. Not everyone has this knowledge but it is an essential undercurrent to running a successful property development business.

Combine these three elements together and you get Forsite.

Logo Design
I would like the logo to incorporate the concepts of construction and forsight. My thoughts on how to do this visually is by using a house symbol and an eye symbol. I have attached two initial design concepts using these symbols that I would love to see designed up professionally. I am also open to other ideas for incorporating these symbols so please feel free to let your creativity run wild. The colours I am thinking are: Orange to represent bricks/foundation/energy and blue to represent knowledge/forsight/education.
