Design a Logo for a family law practice/firm

Contest Brief
I would like a logo designed for a collaborative form of law that focuses on mediation rather than typical style of law in a court room. Name of the firm is "Kemi S. Rampi Law, PLLC". The core focus of the form of law this firm will practice will be mediation of divorce. This firm started because we wanted to do family law but wanted to change the system from within. It's not about "winning" the case but keeping the family healthy through such a painful and difficult time.
We want to keep this logo simple. Something timeless, classic but have it look modern. Perhaps a word mark or letter mark logo of some kind.
We'll need a new website, business cards, letterhead and whatever else is required to rebrand the firm after the logo is complete.
Feminine/Masculine neutral.
Slightly more Mature than young.
Slightly more Economical than Luxury.
More Classic than modern.
Serious rather than playful.
Quiet rather than loud.
Simple rather than Complex.
More Obvious than subtle.
In terms of colors, any of the below would work. Don't have a preference.:
Yellow: Knowledge, Energy, Joy, Intellect, Youth
Green: Fertility, Wealth, Healing, Success, Growth
White: Purity, Healing, Perfection, Clean, Virtue
Blue: Knowledge, Trust, Tranquility, Calm, Peace, Cool
Black: Fear, Secrecy, Formal, Luxury
Purple: Royalty, Wisdom, Spirituality, Imagination
Orange: Creativity, Invigoration, Unique, Stimulation
Gray: Balance, Sophistication, Neutrality, Uncommitted

Agree with you. Really weak and unprofessional work. What private message he send and CH pick up his design. Hey CH when you upload this on your site the logo will not looks good. Because of big KSR, "Kemi S. Rampi Law, PLLC" will look just a little line or not visible. We didn't expected you pick up this type GIRLY entry. Re-decide please.

I don't understand why would you pay $100 for such a design when you can design it yourself. Apart of that, I feel really sorry for a law firm who breaks intellectual property laws. I'm just trying to warn the contest holder because if you might face a lawsuit later on, the firm will have to face all the consequences, including high financial damages.

Don't be silly, the feather is EXACTLY the same one. No resemblance? I am looking at the shapes, they look the same. Don't make a fool out of yourself because what you're doing lacks graphic design skills and inspiration.

If anyone's been here long enough you'd know that this happens on freelancer alot. I've seen the feather and it is the same one. It's better to forget about it and move on. Just imagine, in a few years that exact feather may be the branding for several companies. I'm withdrawing my entries from this contest. If I had seen this earlier, I wouldn't have bothered.

A lot of these are starting to look the same. If anybody has any creative ideas, please submit them. I'd love to see what creative ideas you each have. I think my thoughts as to what could be a fit ("word mark or letter mark logo of some kind") has become the only designs created. I was merely making a suggestion but I'm wide open to anything you all may have as well. You're the experts so please do what you do best. I'm not creative at all!
