Contest Brief

We need a brand! Mobile Vélo is a business that hires bike travel cases to cyclists and triathletes. 'Mobile' implies movement and travel, while 'Vélo' is the french word for bicycle.

When an athlete needs to travel with their bicycle via plane, train, bus or some other means, they want to protect their bicycle from damage during transport. Bikes of the pros can be worth up to USD25,000 so these bike boxes perform a very important role.

Our hire / rental business allows an athlete to select the dates for hire, book and pay online for the service. They then either pick-up the bike box from a location or we courier the box to a chosen destination.

The brand needs to:
- represent our young, active and creative business
- imply a fast, reliable and quality service
- connect with cyclists and athletes
- demonstrate vault-like protection for the bicycle

Remember cyclists love their bikes so the logo may touch on this emotional aspect in its design.This is a premium service that will target both male and female athletes typically in the 30-50 year old age bracket, who have the budget and time to travel interstate and internationally to race.
