Hilariously, in response to my entry - #17 - the Contest Holder commented "Interesting concept!"" and rated it 3 basically meaning he actually valued original work less than that piece-of-crap web-rip I saved him last night from and a crude tracing of something actually very good posted on Artstation. Weirdly, the web-rip was also originally posted on Artstation too. It's a really tiny, tiny little world, isn't it..? I honestly don't know why we bother. On days like this, I just don't. No doubt the side effect of knocking off at gone 3 in the morning trying to put something half descent in but, even so....

Good catch, Ms George. Make sure you report the entry.

.... You've rated a web-rip 4 stars - #11 & #12 - he got the artwork from here: https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/002/829/052/large/serge-birault-asianconcept.jpg?1466184752 - imported it into Adobe Illustrator by placing it on new layer, ran a full color image trace on it and expanded the result hence why - in #12 - it looks like something possibly made up in the program, so long as you don't actually know what Illustrator is or or how to work it.

It's not a bad idea. Don't seal the contest and - if you can - guarantee it instead. You'll get a bunch load more better entries that way and - don't worry - you won't be forced to buy anything you don't 100% love. The way things stand, your illustration, though fun, is a lot of work for people to be running up on spec. Scammers see it as an opportunity for a quick buck, they know we go where the pay is. If you don't know what you're looking at it can get pricey. You've set a really interesting brief but - like I say - its a lot to commit to unless your prepared to commit yourself. Keep the contest open, we can guarantee you won't get stiffed. In exchange for guaranteeing you will get in better work and - like I say - you only buy what you love. Our job is to make sure you get that. Do we have a deal?
