Contest Brief

Hi! My company is called Giglet's Garments and we are saving the planet from textile waste by turning secondhand clothing into yarn which we then make into lovely handmade products. I have been brainstorming my logo and have an idea that I really like, but I need help with the execution. You'll see the first file I've uploaded is the basic idea of the logo, a yarn ball made to look like the Earth with knitting needles somehow incorporated. I'm happy with the look of the yarn ball in the first file, but I've added some ideas which could also work just to give you some ideas, it should be simple and clear what it is. I need someone better at photoshop to help with getting the Earth print to look like it's actually on the yarn instead of just two overlayed photos. Ideally, there would be one draft which incorporates the name Giglet's Garments as well as one with just the plain image logo to use on our website, etc.
I need the logo for website favicon, branding materials, social media, etc. so please lay out in a way that i have multiple variations for each use case.
Photoshop files need to be separated into layers with all layers clearly labeled.
