Contest Brief

Im a cosmetic tattoo artist and I'm now designing prosthetics for breast cancer survivors. These ladies have to have double mastectomies and in that process the loose their Areola's and Nipples. Tattooing has been their only option so I'm trying to provide and alternative- Silicone prosthetics. Ive had some CAD work done already and some D3molds made but they are missing the mark. If I'm asking for somthing that is not do-able in the CAD WORLD PLEASE LET ME KNOW- it obviously has to be organic looking. October is breast cancer awareness and I'm tying desperately to get a mold that works!! AKA a good CAD design. It would be small, only about 1.5 inches across with a slight projection which would be the nipple in the center with a thickness of about 16th of an inch all the way around. It has to be thin because it it applied to the skin with adhesive and the edges need to lock down completely. I originally cast the in clay and got nice skin texture and realism. My issue came in when I couldn't get the clay thin enough by hand to pour a mold. It needs to be exact in thickness all the way around and through. The images below are of my pours with clay molds and some that were 3D molds cut for me that missed the mark. When someone contacts me I can tell you more about what didn't work. I don't need hyper realism just light texture and nipple character. I have images I can provide for reference on skin texture and nipple characteristics. Im wanting to offer custom designed the my clients as well so this could be an ongoing design need. Im hope to find the right designer

Employer Feedback

“My mind is blown- I tried to source this locally and have been going back and forth for 2+ months. Sachin nailed it in 3 days. Im sure if he was local to me it would have been a few hours. ”
