Contest Brief

PLEASE READ AS MANY DESIGNERS HAVE NOT :)

I'm currently in search for a professional designer with style and creativity to create patterns for a new line of socks from a brand called 'Sundays'. These socks should capture simplicity yet be tastefully interesting. Our preferred aesthetic gravitates towards designs similar to what you can find on our pinterest board here: https://pin.it/NKNWUlanF They are unisex and should be designed to be worn by both men and women. Whilst we do want the designs to have some character, we also don't want anything overly polarising as they are an everyday sock.

Our biggest competitor is likely to be: https://wearwellow.com/ - Please note we are a fan of their designs as well.

Final note: These are compression socks so should be designed to be knee height and would like to see a mock-up to get a better idea of what the sock will look like :)



Essential skills and experiences:
• Proven experience in fashion or textile design
• Broad knowledge on designing patterns
• Adept with colour theories
• Must provide portfolio showcasing previous work on patterned design.
