Contest Brief

Within one of the greatest symbols of the village of Arouca, Arouca Monastery, a nature resort is born. A place to breathe, calm down, reconnect and emerge lighter again. Perfect for families, but also ideal for a retreat with your team. In Arouca we began to write a new chapter, from the inside out.
Pecado Restaurant (Sin in english) lives inside the Monastery. A signature restaurant, located in a place with a unique aura and which makes its surroundings a key part of the experience it promotes. Signature dishes that make haute cuisine a portal to other universes and this place a sin (Pecado) that anyone can indulge in without guilt.
Pecado Restaurant, located in the Arouca Monastery, but with an independent entrance from the hotel, it is positioned as a fine dining restaurant and is open to visitors and guests, locals and tourists. We challenged Chef Rui Paula, holder of two Michelin stars, to join us as the brand's Executive Chef and presented a selection of dishes inspired by history that spans centuries. In short, the logo design (Pecado Restaurant) must include reference to these details.
