<Technology Description>
This technology is designed to switch the vehicle's operating mode to an energy-saving operating mode.
One of the problems when driving a vehicle is that the vehicle may run out of fuel before the vehicle arrives at the energy station, depending on the remaining energy level of the vehicle.
To solve this problem, this technology determines whether the vehicle can reach an energy station based on the vehicle's remaining energy level and the location of the vehicle in relation to the energy station. If it is determined that the vehicle cannot reach the energy station, the vehicle's operating mode is switched to economy mode. In economy mode, the vehicle's maximum speed is limited, rapid acceleration is prohibited, and the air conditioning and radio are turned off to conserve energy. The vehicle can be an electric vehicle or a vehicle that uses gasoline, natural gas, or other fuels.
