Contest Brief

We would like a logo for a business which will conduct asset management of crypto and technology assets, assist early stage companies with fundraisings, and also some financial advice to small-mid size operating companies and investors in this area.

The target audience for the business is mainly to high net worth individuals and also some institutional investors (who are known to the founders) ie 30 – 65 year olds in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Europe and the US who want exposure to technology and crypto investments.

The business will be based in Hong Kong and Singapore, and will be conducted exclusively in English.

The brand values which we would like to convey are:

(a) trust;
(b) confidence in future performance;
(c) ability to deliver;
(d) the service compared to its peers is for experienced and well connected investors;
(e) it will involve crypto and technology asset investments so relatively modern, a sense of action, and not too boring or conservative.

The company name is "Malapa Capital Limited". Malapa is the aggregation of the first two letters of the first names of the 3 founders. The founders have no particular special or hidden meaning with that name.

The logo should be:

(i) either a combination mark (part picture, part letter mark), a pure letter market or a word mark with the name "Malapa"; and

(ii) preferably, a "flat" design
(iii) in terms of letters to be used, either "MLP", "MCL" or "Malapa" is fine.

The logo will mainly be used on business cards, letters, website and on LinkedIn. There will be no advertising.

Ideally, the logo should look good and be legible both big and as a small icon (as large as 1200 x 1200 pixels, and as small as 35x35 Pixels.)

Dear Contest Holder, i just wanted to tell you to NOT be fooled by those who
only submited their design with MockUP template (especially 3D MockUP).
only judge the design with neutral background color (black/white).
otherwise your judgement is a skewed,
because 3D MockUP is just for show, its a form of a DESIGNER SCAM..
it's only a PHOTOSHOP EDITING.. it's gonna be different when you receive the original file
