Quick Connect Junction Box _ 02

Dear CH, as you can see I change everything in my design. here is a new model. I just forgot to add screw holes on the base. I add them after the rendering process on the model and make some screenshots for you. waiting for your comments on this design. Best

    and for the knives, please let me change them to something like lever action and make it easier action for the installer ;)

      Great! Last consideration is the tolerance stackup of the knives piercing into the cable. Lots of variables here (cable placement, base tolerance, rotating piece tolerance, knife location tolerance, knife dimensional tolerance) - and it is critical that the knifes pierce the right cable, perfectly, everytime.     Hi, how are you doing? thank. I'm working on the 2.5mm wires issue. and for the connecting wires into conductors, Yes they are push-fit now. OK, I'll change them to standard screw terminal.

      Also, please note that the current carrying capacity of this box should be at least 32A (with some safety margin). So i think the knives will have to be increased in size a bit. And that means more force to pierce into the cable. I assume that you expect the electrician to push with their hands to cut the knives into the cable? From experience, this is actually very hard, it would probably need a tool or lever action to make it practical.
