Contest Brief
We need a logo for "FLiK". Current logo attached. "FLiK" is the correct case. Logo should use the text as the main part of the logo. Current logo variations are attached.
-We want 2 variations, similar to what we have now
1. Square logo. This will be saved in many sizes for use in applications
2. Horizontal logo. Used for website and other places
3. Icon for FLiK to match style of CUT, COPY, PASTE icons (cut-copy-paste-example.png included)
The winner will provide the vector versions as well as the square version as .PNG in full size, 32x32,48x48,128x128. Make sure the design scales down and holds its form.
What it does? FLiK handles movement and placement of things. Again: The core concepts: FLiK is concerned with
1. movement
2. placement
We are looking for a minimalist design. Use the existing colors OR try single color
We are open to multiple winners.
As we see designs, we will respond first in the general area, so please read it carefully. Good luck!

I extended the contest to work directly with people that have 4 & 5 star designs. I will be looking for originals in each design path. Every design should be submitted with all black in every entry. If you have a few *minor* changes include all in the same design. Separate entries for every similar designs will be rejected. It takes to much time. I am looking for original. Please re-read my comments if unsure about direction.

The more designs I see, I believe the winner will keep it SIMPLE, lowercase, and show some movement off of the part of the K that points up 90 degrees

After review of one entry. I made a suggestion to try radio waves. In my estimation, this is a better representation than arrows. The expression of radio waves also matches the FLIK concept as a "Flik" happens over a network. Forget arrows and work radio waves into the design. Positive on this. thank you.

Don't use whitespace surrounded by color. It will not work. If you put a graphic over the i, it needs to be solid color, not an outline with white being the icon

There is no reason in the design to split the F or L. Keep F & L as solid characters. I think the F & L of the design is done, solid F & L, leaning forward. 2nd half... needs work.

Simplicity is winning over complexity. Remember, I need a logo and an icon. Logo needs to scale down. Icon is stand alone. Nice if they can be related in some way.

Note: A "leaning" font is not rotated, It has a level base. Rotated=amateur. Think. Now you can look back on it and see for yourselves. Some great designs, I will probably award multiple. I have not seen 5 stars yet. When you get 4 stars I will chat with you in detail. thanks!

FLiK: the technology is about (1) Movement and (2) Placement.
Moving: running man/woman (no one has tried a woman). That would be unique....

All: I am not seeing anyone to anything with the text, it is the same font. Design has to do with all elements. Try the FLIK text leaning forward.
