Contest Brief

Seeking a logo for a sailing club. Trying to pay homage to the 70s and 80s. Please see attachments for font and boat ideas.

Idea #1 Simple, silhouette, one color design of a catamaran (on one hull) sailing towards, or away from the viewer. I’d like to incorporate a sniper’s crosshair from a scope into the design as well, perhaps around the whole boat with the name sail team six. Or just a cross hair on the sail.

Idea #2 would be block roman numerals VI, with the same thin, elegant sailboat used as the space between the V and the I.

Sail team six is meant as a play on Seal team six, so any other badass navy seal ideas are definitely welcome.
