Contest Brief

Tacos Diablo serves fast casual mexican streetfood featuring tacos and burritos with authentic style mexican cooking. Diablo is the Spanish word for Devil, and often refers to hot and spicy food. We would like a sign designed for the restaurant that would also function as our logo. It should have the words "Tacos Diablo" as part of the sign. It can have multiple colors, but not a photograph, i.e. it should be vector art so it can be easily scaled up or down. Imagery could include things related to Mexican food, spicy food or the Devil, such as tacos, flames, pitch forks, sugar skulls (see Dia de Meurtos, or Day of the Dead), and so on, but we would like to be light-hearted and fun. We are a fun place to get take-away.

Some feedback: Some designs seem to be too corporate, which is not the mexican street food image we are trying for. Some also seem more at home in a mall, we are on a street in a rural town. We prefer something with a little cartoony or with fun to it. Thanks.
