Contest Brief

Some people may have been to college or University and received a qualification in a particular subject or trade.

They may have received training whilst in a job to gain a certificate and experience to be able to master a skill.

Employed or unemployed, a Hairdressers, Plumber, Electrician, Fitness Instructor, Beautician, or Van Driver, etc. They have a skill to make money from.

Sellers can post their skill,
show your location and the radius prepared to travel
the days or evenings you wish to work
Times prepared to work ie 6pm till 9pm or full day
Set rate by the hour, day or fix price

add experience or qualifications you have
To help customers make a more informed choice

Customer can post a job
Giving a description
location and timescale
The website will search and match a skilled person
or the customer can put up a request for quote
which will go to those skilled workers who can then bid for the work
the customers can rate your work for others to view

BUYERS
The service is free for all buyers

Buyers can chat to sellers prior to selection to discuss the requirement
they can share attachments images or documents
The conversations will be between the buyer and seller and not an open discussion

Buyers can put up best quote with a description which will be visible to other sellers to give them an opportunity to bid against to ensure the buyer gets best deal

Any payment for jobs will take place between buyers and seller outside of XtraJob

SELLERS
will pay a monthly, subscription fee to host their skill this will require admin approval prior to going live on the site, ensures quality and stops competitors snooping.

They will need to build a profile outlining their specific skills and offering tailored products or services - “ I will iron 30 shirts, in 3 hours for £30” - for instance.
An appointment system will allow for booking jobs within the tool and showing availability to potential buyers.
Internal messaging Email and live chat are both available.

SELLERS
Feature to include:
payment via the chosen payment gateway.
Registration process with admin approval.
All associated transactional emails
Profile page with; standard personal information, a detailed description of the tasks within their gift and availability for coming work.
Specific skill or package offering, continuing with the plumber analogy these may include;
fixing leaky taps, unblocking sinks, replacing drain traps.
Availability calendar and appointment booking
My Accounts area for; dashboard, transactional information and profile settings
Avatar & skill/package imagery
Dashboard over very or all local activity
Ability to create and contribute to topic specific groups
A live forum for sellers to share experiences
Reviews & rating from buyer

BUYER -
Feature to include:
Free registration
My Accounts area for; dashboard, transactional information and profile settings
Ability to post jobs,that will searchable by sellers and provide the ability for accepting
bid/applications.
Transactional emails supporting the process
Dashboard style monitoring of replies.
Search; keyword, skill, location and other relevant taxonomy
Member page; personal information, jobs posted
Ability to book appointments and check sellers availability
Access to the members forum
Ability to contribute to blogs or topic groups
Ability for inviting others - sweetener TBC
Buyer Ratings and able to leave reviews for work complete, this will include an ‘incognito’
Feedback gathered after each appointment to ensure standard are maintained.
