Hi, There are essentially two issues here: 1. Company policy of not giving out cash to employees 2. Poor Service by Travel Agent For the first problem, I would suggest that you tie up with a leading bank/credit card company and let every employee have a corporate credit card. For example my employer has a tie up with American Express & Citibank Diner Card. Employees will make travel purchases using this card. After the trip is over they claim expense and the reimbursement is directly credited to the Credit Card Account. Now, coming to the second issue, which is poor service by Travel Agent, some of the solutions are: 1. Have more than one agents and give employees the freedom to choose a Travel Agent. 2. Allow employees to purchase online to make it further competitive. 3. Have a mechanism to post feedback rating about Travel Agent. 4. Let employees raise Travel Request Online, Agents submit quote online, Tickets received online. Have SLAs in place and monitor the TAT.
