We just migrated our forum from phpbb3 to vbulletin 3.8.3 . All problems were solved it seems, but user conversion wasn't really successful. There are now 3500 users now instead of 2500, but some accounts are missing anyway. Some users are gone or have the guest status now, some users are moderators but weren't, some have completely different usernames, some have completely wrong number of posts. Also, simple math will tell that there are many duplicates :) Old phpbb3 tables are still intact. It seems like the best idea is to import users all over, somehow.

Hi, I have a phpbb3 system and I want to have an e-mail alert sent to an administrator if a banned word is used anywhere on the forum. The administrator is given a dialogue box which will allow the entry of a list of words. This list should be editable. When any of those words is used in any of the communications on the social network, an e-mail is sent to the administrator. Have you got code or solution for this? Neil

Today, while creating a subforum, suddenly I noticed that forums and subforums hierarchy in some parts of the forum is messed up. Attempts to fix the hierarchy messed it up even more. Sometimes an error message shows up when trying to move some subforums, I pasted it at the end of this job description. Installed a theme on my phpbb3 and the silly style won't show up. Although it does show most of the things it's not showing the background images etc. So it seems it's not loading the style css .. Need someone who is an expert in phpbb3 it will definitely take them less than 10 minutes to fix.

We have an Oscommerce shop which is online.. We also have a phpbb forum (version 3) which is in the shop directory.. catalog/phpbb3/... Hi We have a BoonEx Dolphin site and use phpBB3 for our forums. Our Dolphin site and phpBB3 has been modified and integrated together. The phpBB3 forum uses our Dolphin site header, automatically logs members in when they sign into our Dolphin site etc etc. We tried to change the 'forum roles' in phpBB3 but it came up with a database error (said something about a duplicate key in database) and now when members log in ALL THE POSTS DISAPPEAR!
