Animated Book Video/Trailer

Chronicle Books' ([login to view URL]) children's marketing department is looking for quotes from experienced animators/filmmakers for a 1 to 1 1/2 minute long exciting and visually striking book video for promotional purposes. We're doing more and more book videos these days so are always open to finding new talent. Our budgets are flexible based on the project.
The book in question is a highly interactive picture book for kids and would require animation of shapes and colors (mainly just round dots-- no characters), and possibly some live action interacting with the animation. No voiceover required, only a fun soundtrack. We're looking for someone to bring a creative eye and concept ideas. The tone should be fun and quirky (we're looking to entice kids and parents, after all). This will not be a straightforward retelling-- we want to give viewers a good taste of what the book is about, but want to know more.
This is just an example of one possible direction the video could go (and just illustrates an example of live action interacting with animation). Again, this is NOT necessarily what look we're going for:

Just to clarify, we would expect the filmmaker to create the trailer from start to finish. That means not just the animation but filming the live action footage and incorporating them together into a cohesive film. If anyone is under the impression the live action footage would be provided that is not the case. Keep in mind it would be simple though-- the camera would be looking over the head/shoulder of the kid... so it's not like they need to be a great actor or anything, just cute.
