Build a Hotel Booking Engine

We are having 40 odd domains out of which one is the main one and the rest are place name based domains . Some of these are Live, some are yet to be made.

The main domain provides information on tourist places and it consists of all places where we book hotels and holiday homes. The other domains provides info on name specific destinations. Many of the pages of main domain which is mostly based on plain html are placed well in terms of SEO, a few other domains ranks good [login to view URL] hotels and holiday homes we book – here few properties are controlled by us that is we run those properties and the rest are individual properties and we book them on commission [login to view URL] far our system was that visitors used to contact us through email and telephone and on getting confirmation on availability, they either book their stay by doing Bank transfer, NEFT or through physically appearing at our offices.

What we want is as follows:

1. Migrate majority of our booking procedures online. We want to enable visitors to book their stay online by step by step procedures as following.

a) 1st on searching for a place, they will be given options of stay, for example, if a user is looking for accommodation at place A, he will be given staying options of all holiday homes and hotels we book there.

b) User chooses a holiday home or hotel, selects the date of stay, for hotels/holiday homes which we control, the availability status will be there, so he can know which dates are available, he proceeds with booking.

c) If the user chooses hotels which we book on commission basis and whose overall booking are not controlled by us, He makes a token payment (say 10 or 20%), our people will call him within a stipulated period and on confirmation of availability. The user does the rest payment within another stipulated period of time.

d) In the above case, we should however be able to control the availability status as per our need.

e) On completion of payment, a booking slip will get generated with some or the other unique identifying number for future references, followed by mails and sms’s. Auto Status updation of availablity takes place..

f) The scope for refund to respective Bank A/c, Credit Card, Debit card etc in case of cancellation etc has to be made available.

2. As many of our pages are ranked good in search engine, we don’t want to loose them, so please suggest how we can achieve this without disturbing the present setup which is mainly html [login to view URL] would rather go for a new domain and our main domain pages will be linked to this new domain. we like the stayzilla model and want to include few features like them. Though stayzilla do not provide travel information which we do, somehow we would like to amalgamate their features into our model. Our inventory of hotels gets enhanced every now and so we should be able to add new html pages at our main domain with direct links to book which will direct visitors to the new domain, as well as we should be able to add properties directly to that domain.

A easy mobile ready version of this new domain is also required. We also want to offer affiliateship and enable our affiliates to control the availability status of their properties as well.

Please do not post replies like I can do this. Please be specific on how this can be achieved with tentative plans.
