We have WP RSS Aggregator plugin and are interested in created a customized WordPress news site. The site will focus on specific news from around the world. The site will pull feeds from selected Google News rss feeds, Reuters rss feeds, the AP rss feeds, and several other global source feeds.
The site will have many categories many of which will overlap. For instance, some categories will be by location (ie Syria) others will be by topic (ie. Terrorist group). So each feed will be assigned to 1 to several categories.
The important thing is for the the site to be uniform regardless of the feed. On each category/subject page the feed stories should have a uniform thumbnail pic (unless no pics are in the story) and a snippet of info from the beginning of the story. The "more" link or the title link will take the reader to a post page on our site with the full article. The structure on the full article page should also be uniform.
We bought WP RSS Aggregator which can be used for the formating of the rss feeds as well as reviewing and publishing. These are features built into the WP RSS Aggregator plugin. In essence, we simply need you to customize and "make uniform" the look and feel of the news site.
We absolutely will include full rights at the bottom of each story but want to minimize the visibility of the link to the original page. (regardless of feed source) all content must have a uniform look and feel.
We will have between 20-30 feed sources which we will provide. In addition to the feed lists we will include the assigned categories for each feed which will be menu pages for the main menu and other menus. We will also provide the site logo and the information for the "about" page.
All other content is pulled from the news sources
After site creation we need to be able to update the site easily.
