I need help understanding a fair quote for a scroll-down landing page that I need designed. I'd prefer to host with GoDaddy's Deluxe Linux plan because I have purchased my domain from them. Are you familiar with GoDaddy Website Builder or similar website builder service providers like Squarespace, Weebly, or Jimdo? Do you design pages from scratch or do you use a website builder similar to the ones that I've mentioned?
The purpose of the landing page is to explain how a service works and to sign up users. I have a mockup with photos, a sign-up form, and a contact page, but probably you can make it more aesthetically pleasing/conversion making. I understand that these features and functions can be achieved through one of those website builders, but I worry that when I need to add more features and functions (like more/editing textual content, replacing or adding a photo, or adding a data point to sign-up form) that costs will be higher than if not using a website builder. The sign-up form data would need to feed an email creator and sender (GoDaddy has this, but designer would have to code in Mailchimp or advise on how to proceed).
