- Aim is to use Altair HyperWorks to perform Topology Optimization in order to optimize an aircraft engine pylon to achieve results showing weight reduction.

- I have already CAD modeled the engine pylon on CREO Parametric 3.0 and saved it as an IGES file so that it can be imported into OptiStruct.

What I need:

- Run the topology optimization process on Altiar HyperWorks (version 13.0) for weight reduction. (Any loads and constraints for the part will be provided. In addition if more information is required this can be given).

- Run the process by applying different meshes to compare which is best and shows most weight reduction.

- Provide results showing weight reduction in a number of ways i.e. minimum compliance/minimum volume (graphs etc.)

- Snapshots (image) of any important parts whilst optimizing.

Except load and boundary conditions provide the material details i.e. Youngs modulus, density especially. Without this optimization impossible. Which stress results you want, I mean linear static, non linear, normal m More
