calculate two values on a form in Access

I have a table, a form, and a couple of views that provide the values for the dropdowns on the form. i need to calculate the value of one field, which is a % of one of the fields in the table, and i need to calculate the value of another field, which is a multiplication of one field against anohter field.

Daily rate x # days = charter value

charter value x 5% = commission value
