I need an application to scan documents from a scanner and save them on a network share in pdf format. We will be using WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) to retrieve the images from the scanner and pdflib to convert them in pdf format. There will be some interaction with an existing database but all queries will be provided. Application must be provided in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (MFC) or in Visual C# 2008

See Zip File for the work to do. Upon acceptance of the bidder here is the list of what will be provided (if needed) 1- Wia full working code from the visial studio samples on microsoft site 2- SDK for PDFLIB 3- Needed queries 4- A sample dummy database so you can work with it.

Hi, there are some details I would like to add that I forgot to include in the bid request. 1- Double Clicking on a line in the search dialog should select the client as if the "select" button is pressed 2- The image should be scanned in grayscale in "low quality" something similar to a fax (72-150 dpi I guess). If the dialog of the scan is shown, we'll select the configurations. If it is 100% automated, this will need to be set. 3- Not sure if it is important, but the scanner supports duplexing (2 side scanning). We might need to have a checkbox in the first dialog to instruct WIA to scan both sides. Sorry for the trouble, feel free to raise or retract the bid if you think this might have a significant increase in the development time. Regards
