Add AJAX-Request on Kendo UI form

I've created a simple time-form where a user can input his worktime (2 x date- and 2 time-fields), look at the attached screenshot.
Your job:
There are 4 relevant input fields. If a user leaves one of these fields, it must check in javascript if all 4 fields are set:
- If no: It must reset the worktime result-input-field
- if yes: It must send an AJAX-request to the server (pstt the form as AJAX request...?) and set the response data from the server into the worktime result-input-field.
Note: the worktime is validated and calculated on the server side through PHP-functions I already wrote. You "only" have to write the relevant code for the AJAX-request (javascript) and the response (php) as described above.
