Some years ago I coded a script to show banners on websites. However, in recent times users who downloaded my script complain that the installation routine does not work on their servers. As it (still) works on my own server, I find it difficult to reproduce or even identify the problem. Maybe it is just that the script should be made "PHP5 ready". Your job would be to analyze the code (only few lines of rather simple code) and fix all problems you notice.
