Converting PDF documents to e-book format

This project is about converting large PDF files into readable e-book formats. There are currently about 12 different PDF books which should be converted. What we are looking for is ideally a software which allows us to create e-book versions for the most common e-book readers out there.

We are also looking for an app for iphone/android mobile users to put all the books in. So this project is split in two parts, where one part is to deliver the software/tools to convert the PDF documents and the other part is to create the mobile phone app (iphone/ipad/android) A bonus would be to also include support for windows phone app.

## Deliverables

One software for converting PDF's to the most common e-book readers. This includes but should not be limited to:

- Amazon Kindle

- Android devices

- Apple iOs devices

- Barnes and Nobles book

- Sony reader

- Windows phone

- Nook

- BeBook

- Pandigital

The app created should be for iphone/ipad and android phones. We would naturally also like to see it for Windows phone but that is not required to bid for this project.

In general we could say that the more e-book readers we could make this for via the software for converting PDF's to e-book reader format, the better.

It is important that the e-book reader converted files look "identical" to the PDF pages. In other words, images and text must be converted so it looks the same. No stripping of images or similar. E-book reader files should be as identical to the original PDF look as possible.
