Hello, I have been thinking of a way to slow down or even stop “Power Bidders” and “Collusion Bidders” from bring a PA site down. The main way these bidders develop and boost about how good they are is by their USERNAME. Everything in the PA site world revolves around the USERNAME. So, let’s take the game to them. WE (PA SITE OWNERS) need an auto random username generator that assigns a 1-26 charter number to the user when they log on and a different user number every time they log in. The more charters to user name the harder it is to track each other. Names are easy to watch for, but numbers, good luck tracking them. This is how it works:
1. User logs in and the PA software assigns a random number to that user.
2. User always sees their real user name while bidding, so they can track they are the highest bidder.
3. All other users logged-in only see numbers for the other bidders.
This patch should be imbedded to all PA Site applications and free to all PA Sites that do not have it yet. This will help you as developers by have more PA Sites stay alive and order your other plug-ins, and give each PA Site a fighting chance against these Power Bidders and Collusion.
