[login to view URL] Classified Webite Design

I am looking to re set up my website [[url removed, login to view]][1]. It is a site that will look similar to craigslist, My origional site had a major problem with the script and it no longer is working, so I discontinued the site until I can get the script working properly, and not be hackable.

I do however want some changes, and want it to look a bit less like craigslist and more unique.

## Deliverables

Online Classified Website ([url removed, login to view])

- Similar to Craigslist, but not the same. Main colours Black, White, with some Red. I want it to be a little more flashy (But not crazy flashy) then C.L.

- I will provide you with a logo to use so you do not need to create one

- Main page & Sub pages will have banners at the top & Bottom. These should be edited in admin panel of website.

- Sub Pages will also have a line the can display Google Adsense ads. Either before listings, in the middle, or at end. Controlled in the admin panel.

- Default page to show up on main domain ([[url removed, login to view]][1]) should be the city associated with thier IP. for example, if I am in Toronto, and I type [url removed, login to view], then my browser should point me automaticaly to the Toronto listings.

- If city can not be determined by IP, then make Toronto, ON, Canada the default location.

Other features needed are;

- Free to post, but have the ability to add a Charge for users to post to selected categories/cities.

- Users may pay to make ads Featured that appear before all other adds.

- Users may pay to make ads Extended.

- Users may pay to add more pictures then the free limit.

- Ability to add new paid features in the future

- Free Membership to avoid email verification and other features for members only to be released later.

- Payment options can be set to various options and I can enable/disable them. ie Paypal, Credit Card etc.

- SPAM FILTERS.

- IP block Ability, also ability to block users using proxies, (Not a certain proxy, ALL proxies)

- No user registration needed to post! But I can enable certain catagories to be for members only. is services.

- Enable/disable image verification

- Bad / Banned Word Filter and ability to add/delete new words phrases

- Ability to block URLS from being posted (Can turn on/off)

- Posting limit by nuber and ir time limit between posts (editable)

- NEEDS TO BE AS SECURE AS POSSIBLE FROM BEING HACKED. (Already happened once to me on another site)

- Be Able to Control all aspects of ads from the admin

- Email verification requiered for ads from non members, and a place to store emails for future use, ie monthley mailing from website.

- Built in emailing feature to send notifications and ads to all emails or members, or select emails in system

- Image verification for spam protection

- NEW Search engine friendly urls for ads

- Automatic resizing of photos to reduce dimensions and size

- Option for users to report abuse and flag just like craigslist.

- Number of flags before ad gets removed must be editable from admin

- Automatic expiration of ads after a configurable duration

- Event Calander

- Image Submissions

- Unlimited categories, subcategories, regions, cities and areas

- Show/hide latest ads in homepage and number of ads to show

- Show/hide category list in the left sidebar

- Complete search feature, including custom fields

- Picture upload with ads, and limit size of the picture and number of pictures for free, more pictures can be added for a fee

- Form to email the poster, with attachment (Size limited), without revealing ad posters email.

- Block certain attachments, ie EXEs

- Site language with 7 lanuages

- Initial city to show ads from based on IP of visitor, or if unatainable, then Toronto Canada.

- Enable/disable event calendar

- Enable/disable image submissions

- Show/hide left and right sidebars

- Sort locations and categories alphabetically

- Number of columns for showing categories

- When ad is about to expire, an email reminder can be sent out to poster to see if they want to renew thier ad

- And any other features that make Craigslist safe and fun to use for all its visitors / posters.
