There are many deal sites such as Groupon or living social which offers daily deals.
What I want is an application which utilize APIs from these sites to invoke data from these deals sites on daily basis and store/update those information in my own database (SQL) and then have a desktop Gadget works on Windows and Mac to shows the deals from my database, and have links to the original deal sites.
I understand that the APIs from these sites are not same and for each the developer needs to work separately to invoke the data, but once it is invoked the data is in I want to start with two or three big deal sites and then work others.
