Railway area redevelopment - Urban Design

The project consists of a derelict railway area and its surroundings that are going to be redeveloped into a new mixed use area which will consist of a new railway station, housing/lodging units, open public spaces etc.
Our goal is to create a new landmark in the area as its in a close distance from the waterfront so there are many aspects that have to be taken into consideration. More details will be provided for those interested in the project.
Firstly, we are more interested in a general concept about the area before moving on to the planning, so we require from those interested to be ready to take initiatives and make their own proposals as well as to be open for discussion.
