I have a need for a proficient data analyst who is highly skilled in transforming tabular data, with formulates, from multiple PDF documents into Excel for the purpose of data analysis.

- File Quantity and Structure: The project involves 1-5 PDF files. The structure of the tables within each document is mostly similar.

- Data Type: The data includes complex tables with embedded formulae which need to be retained during the transfer process to Excel seamlessly.

Designed schemas will not only enable easy data reading but also facilitate convenient manipulation while maintaining the data's accuracy and integrity.

Skills and Experience:

- Advanced Excel skills, especially in dealing with formulae

- Proficiency in data migrating across different formats

Job

1. Convert DAR 2023 Volume I and II (Sub-Heads 1 to 26) available at the following links, to EXCEL in a single TAB

2. Create a second tab on the EXCEL file and tabulate BASIC rates available at pages 3 to 78 of the first PDF document link above.

3. Link the Basic rates tab with tab created in step 1.

4. Create a third tab in the format shown in attached spreadsheet titled "Sample Estimate", so that when item code is entered in sheet under column SL No. H (blue), all cells in corresponding table under green shade get automatically populated.

5. Create a fourth tab titled LMR in the format shown in spreadsheet titled LMR, so that when a basic rate code is entered in cell A (blue), cells C and E (green) get populated.

Being familiar with PDF file structures and having handled similar spreadsheet work before will be an added advantage. The goal for this project is to have an efficient Excel spreadsheet that not only visually mirrors the original PDFs but also retains important data analysis functionalities.
