Race Event Logo Design - Chairty Fundraiser

Heading into its 5th year, our annual awareness and fundraising race (Race for Pace) is in need of a strong branding element - a logo - which will help guide the creation of marketing collateral, providing potential participants a 'feel' for what the race involves.
Attaching the event to a theme/slogan of 'Embrace your inner superhero - walk or run for children with disabilities', the logo design much communicate this child/family-friendly theme while appealing to a broader, 'runner' audience.
The event will include the following components:
- Superhero Celebration breakfast where the children in our programs will celebrate the end of their school with the graduates being acknowledged. This invite-only portion will include our programs children and their families (current and alumni), sponsors, and staff. This breakfast will offer food and entertainment, pre-race.
- 1km Superhero Parade where children and families in our programs, plus community members, will complete a 1km fun walk or run, where they are encouraged to dress up like a superhero. Registrants for this event will be given a red superhero cape instead of the traditional race t-shirt.
- 5 and 10km walk or run which engages a broader audience, some who are aware of the charity the event is supporting, and some who are not.
It is crucial that the general public understands this is a community running event, welcoming walkers/runners and community members who may or may not be connected to the benefiting charity, Pacekids Programs, and feel enticed to register for event.
