Project Description: Book Cover Design
I am looking for a talented designer to create a book cover for my upcoming novel. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating visually appealing and haunting book covers.
Style:
I like minimalist style.
Specific Imagery:
- I have specific imagery I'd like to incorporate in the cover. I would like a zoomed in photo of a pinky promise by two girls (they are twins) age 12. Their long blonde hair wisps can be seen and woods in the background. Or, black and white image of twin girls with long blonde hair holding a mason jar filled with three fireflies. One firefly is flying out of the top and the other two fireflies are in the jar. I'm looking for a photojournalistic moody image - but this could also be illustrated. The book gets to the heart of sisterhood as twins. The setting is rural indiana. The girls spend their days running barefoot through the woods near the railroad tracks. The mason jar with three fireflies is a strong theme.
Format:
- The book cover will be in both print and eBook formats.
